做了十多年貓奴,如今又可用設計繼續為主子作貢獻。受本土寵物食品品牌漁曉吃®委託,為其新推出的全價貓糧罐頭進行設計,希望給其顧客產生好感,留下深刻印象。

活力滿分

回歸產品的主旨,全價生骨肉主食罐強調以全方位均衡營養給貓兒帶來強健體魄、加添活力。因此,「活」是核心,如能讓罐子「活」起來,讓顧客感受到罐裡裝著的不僅是食糧、更是充沛的生命力,那會是個不錯的主意。

樂趣滿FUN

此外,雖然寵物糧為寵物而設,但選擇的是寵物主人,卻鮮見與主人產生情感連結的設計。我們想為主人帶來一些額外的互動樂趣,增進其對產品及品牌的關注和好感。漁曉吃®的顧客群偏年輕,在這社交網絡盛行的當下,常見年輕貓主人與貓兒自拍,甚至還有虛擬貓耳貓鼻濾鏡app,為這一代愛貓人提供趣味小把戲。

如此,設計方向逐漸清晰。在整個罐子表面特寫著各色各樣帶著滋味滿足表情的貓兒咀巴,一方面點題了食品,又令罐子活靈活現。同時,畫面的比例能夠配合人臉大小,好比一枚實物化的濾鏡,讓貓主自拍玩樂。

若這小小遊戲能煥發起貓主樂於參與,對於品牌和產品而言,可謂是一種無價的口碑宣傳。

 

 

Having raised cats for more than ten years, now we finally have the opportunity to do a design for them. Accepted the commission of the local pet food brand AMEDOD® to design the packaging for the new Complete Nutrition Canned Cat Food, the goal is to make a good impression to their customers.

Full of Vitality

Returning to the meaning of the product, the Complete Nutrition Canned emphasizes bringing a healthy body and vitality to cats with a comprehensive and balanced nutrition. Therefore, “alive” is the main point. If we could make the cans looked alive so that let customers feel there are not only food but also abundant vitality for their cats, that would be a good idea.

Fill with Fun

In addition, although the pet food designs for the pets, but it is the pet owner who makes the choice, and there are few designs that have an emotional connection with the owners. We wanted to bring some extra interactive fun to the owners to increase their attention and affection for the product and the brand. The customer base of AMEDOD® is relatively young, it is common to see young cat owners taking selfies with their cats and post on the social networks. Even though, there are many camera apps to provide virtual cat ears or nose filters as interesting tricks for their selfies.

The design direction is gradually clear. There is a lower half of cat's face with satisfying expressions on the entire surface of the can. On the one hand, it fits the cat food theme, but also make the can looked lively. At the same time, the proportion of the pattern can match the size of the human  face, just like a physical camera filter, allowing the cat owner to take selfies with fun.
