Packaging Design for Qli

PROJECT SERVICE : Packaging Design

Qli 輕藜,是以藜麥為主要材料的營養代餐食品,主打女性健康纖體、輕鬆減負的訴求。原本的產品包裝風格乾淨簡潔,但有點過度冷感,未能如預期的引起其客群注意。因此,Qli委託我們進行重新設計,希望從視覺上給女性受眾產生第一印象的好感。
翻查資料,了解到藜麥不但被評價為最具營養的十大食品之一,更因其原產於南美洲安第斯山脈,而被古印加文明稱為「神的食物」。基於這樣的典故,我們嘗試以兩位印加神祗作為創作的源頭:
Pachamama,生育女神 ——
在印加人的神話中,Pachamama是主管種植和收穫的生育女神,具有自給和創造能力來維繫大地上生命。同時,她也是生育女神,提供眾生從食物到住所的所有生活必需,負責植物和動物的健康。
Apu Inti,太陽神 ——
Apu Inti是印加神話中的太陽神,印加的宗教與大自然息息相關,太陽所提供的光與熱對生命極為重要,因此,Apu Inti被視為賜予生命的神祇,代表著滋養和活力。
我們不想將整個設計做出太強烈的印加風格,與Qli對應的客群產生審美錯位,因此僅僅從設計上提煉出對應的象征元素,融匯在色彩斑斕的畫面當中。
Qli is a nutritious meal replacement food with quinoa as the main material, which focuses on women's healthy slimming and weight reduction. The original product packaging style was clean and concise, but it was a little too cold, and failed to attract the attention of its customers as expected. Therefore, Qli commissioned us to redesign, hoping to create a favorable first impression for their female audiences.
We learned that quinoa was not only rated as one of the top ten most nutritious foods, but also known as "the food of God" by the ancient Inca civilization because of its origin in the Andes of South America. Based on this allusion, we try to use the Inca deities as the inspiration of our design:
Pachamama, the goddess of fertility:
In Inca mythology, Pachamama is the goddess of fertility in charge of planting and harvesting, with her self-sufficiency and creativity to sustain life on earth. She is also the goddess of fertility, providing all living beings with everything from food to residence, responsible for the health of plants and animals.
Apu Inti, the god of sun:
Apu Inti is the god of sun in Inca mythology. The religion of Inca is closely related to nature. The light and heat provided by the sun are extremely important to life. Therefore, Inti is regarded as a life-giving deity, representing nourishment and vitality.
We don't want to make the design too strong Inca style, and create an aesthetic dislocation with the customers which corresponding to Qli. Therefore, we only extracted the corresponding symbolic elements and combined them into these colorful designs.
