數年前，自己友®製作了一款小程式遊戲——《估畫粵語》，以畫謎方式進行傳統粵式俗語大考驗。常常聽見要傳承傳統文化云云，其實最好的傳承方式就是寓學于樂。因此，自己友®打算將遊戲內容重新編集成書，將整個概念變為更豐富的體驗。
A few years ago, Zi Gei Jau® created a mini mobile game of Cantonese traditional idioms rebuses challenge. It is often heard that traditional culture needs to be inherited, but in fact, the best way to inherit is to combine learning and enjoyment, which called “Edutainment”. Therefore, Zi Gei Jau® decided to recompile the game content into a book with a better experience.
書名《廣古仔》，既取「講古仔」諧音、又有「廣府故事」之意。書籍的要求與小程式當然不同，將所有插圖重製，利用風格、色彩、構圖來做出每一篇章的奇趣味，既是畫謎、又是一幅幅完整插畫。畫謎的頁背既有答案，更有詳細的出處典故，甚至可用手機掃描二維碼獲取聲音導讀。
The title of the book is 廣古仔, which has a similar pronunciation as “telling a story” and also means “Cantonese story”. The standard of a book is of course different from a mini mobile game. All illustrations are reworked, using style, color, and composition to make each chapter interesting. They are not only rebuses, but also a complete illustration. The another side of the illustration page is the answer with detailed story. You can even scan the QR code with the mobile phone to get the audio guide.
整套書以玩為先，除書本主體外還附帶遊戲啤牌一副，玩法增值、樂趣更多，將寓學於樂貫徹到底。
Edutainment is the main theme of this project. In addition to the book, it also comes with a set of card game for more fun and more gameplay.
