香港文藝界名人鄭文雅女士慷慨捐贈150件清代及近現代石灣窯蟋蟀盆予廣東石灣陶瓷博物館,博物館亦藉此契機,策劃以日常生活器物為主題、重現清末民初廣府生活氣息的「陶窯煙火——石灣陶與廣府生活藝術展」,並再次委託我們主導整個展覽的策劃與設計工作,從展場環境的立體空間設計、展示動線、展品陳列方式,到主視覺風格、說明文案展示方式及海報等平面設計,皆由我們一手統籌與完成。
為貼合展覽主題及展品所屬年代,我們將展場設計聚焦於清末時期廣東人的生活形態,期望觀眾在觀展過程中產生更強共鳴。為此,我們選取嶺南園林代表——余蔭山房與清暉園作為參考藍本,兩座名園不僅體現了典型的嶺南建築特色,其精緻的園林格局、豐富的裝飾細節及文化內涵,更是清末廣府人生活方式與美學觀念的具象體現。
The well-known cultural icon from Hong Kong, Ms. Olivia Cheng, generously donated a collection of 150 Qing Dynasty and modern-era Shiwan cricket jars to the Guangdong Shiwan Ceramics Museum. These artifacts, once a part of the vibrant leisure culture of Guangdong, have now returned to their cultural roots. In response to this meaningful occasion, the museum launched an exhibition titled “Pottery Kiln Fireworks: Shiwan Ceramic and Guangfu Living Art Exhibition” focused on domestic artifacts that reflect the spirit of everyday living in late Qing and early Republican Canton. We were once again entrusted to lead the entire exhibition's planning and design — from the three-dimensional spatial layout and visitor flow, to the display arrangements, overall visual identity, and all graphic elements including exhibit texts and promotional posters — all aspects were holistically directed and executed by our team.
To resonate with the time period of the collection and reinforce the curatorial theme, our spatial concept centered around the lifestyle aesthetics of late-19th-century Guangdong. As design references, we selected two iconic Lingnan gardens—Yuyin Garden and Qinghui Garden. These renowned sites embody classical Lingnan architecture with their refined courtyards, ornamental details, and cultural symbolism, offering a direct channel into the worldview and lifestyle philosophy of Cantonese society at the time.


我們通過規劃觀展動線,將整個展場劃分為多個主題區域,並以嶺南建築與庭院空間為靈感,構築沉浸式場景,讓參觀者能在行走之中穿梭於廣府生活意象之間,獲得多層次的觀展體驗。
這種情境化的陳列策略,讓展品不再單獨存在,而是與時代背景及生活場景有機結合,使觀眾能更全面理解其歷史語境與人文意涵。從嶺南園林的拱門、花窗,到石灣陶藝的釉色與器型;從書畫般的意境營造,到拍照打卡的視覺亮點,每一處細節皆圍繞故事敘述與觀眾體驗而設——視覺層面上展現圖紋與色彩之美,知識層面上揭示生活與陶藝的歷史脈絡,情感層面上則營造身歷其境的氛圍。這種多維度的融合,幫助觀眾從設計語言中理解器物的文化功能,進而在審美、文化與個人感受之間建立起更深層次的聯繫,激發與古物之間的文化共鳴。
展場整體設計採用實物裝置與平面視覺元素交互運用,一方面營造場景氛圍,另一方面亦謹守「展品為主,場景為輔」的設計原則,避免喧賓奪主,確保觀眾的視線與注意力得以集中於展品本身。同時,我們亦充分考慮現今觀眾參展行為的社交屬性,刻意營造具有拍照吸引力的視覺焦點與構圖場景,激發觀眾拍照打卡與社交分享的意願,進一步助力展覽的擴散與口碑效應。
We organized the exhibition flow into thematic zones, drawing spatial inspiration from traditional Lingnan courtyards and pavilions to create immersive environments. This layout invited visitors to walk through a reimagined landscape of historical domestic life, enhancing emotional engagement and sense of presence throughout the viewing experience.
Such a contextualized approach elevates the artifacts beyond static display, embedding them within layered narratives of time, place, and everyday ritual. Visitors are invited to observe, interpret, and emotionally connect: from the lattice windows and curved doorways of Lingnan architecture to the glaze and forms of Shiwan ceramics; from poetic wall graphics to share-worthy visual moments designed for visitor interaction. Each detail serves both storytelling and spatial clarity—encouraging visual appreciation, historical understanding, and personal immersion.
By combining physical structures with two-dimensional visual design, we struck a balance between spatial atmosphere and artifact-centered focus. This ensured the display environment enhanced rather than distracted from the exhibits. Simultaneously, social behavior was taken into account—photo-ready spots and culturally rich imagery were deliberately embedded into the exhibition landscape, prompting organic sharing on social platforms and amplifying word-of-mouth buzz.













































透過這種多維度的融合設計方式,不僅讓展品得以置於歷史語境之中,更搭建起美學、文化與生活經驗之間的橋樑,使參觀者能從器物中建立起對時代與故事更深層的理解與連結,從而與每一件石灣陶瓷產生更有溫度的文化對話。
Through this multidimensional design strategy, the project not only contextualized historical objects but also bridged aesthetics, culture, and lived experience—allowing visitors to build deeper connections with the era and the stories embedded in each piece of Shiwan Ceramic.
